Fast, accurate solutions to people's needs
At airports, everyone is in a hurry. This busy information center serves 2 to 3,000 visitors per day in peak season, with about 1,000 daily inquiries through the rest of the year. To provide information quickly, common needs are summarized in hand-made materials, always ready at the counter. Advice is available on a range of topics, including transportation, seasonal events, and suggestions for how to enjoy your time before connecting flights.

Even in the Internet age, information centers hold great value
Nowadays, so much data is at our fingertips, but for reliable and up-to-date guidance, the specialists at information centers like this one are a voice to trust. Face-to-face communication at information centers is a great advantage when planning trip details. “I wanted to see cherry blossoms, but they're already gone in Tokyo. Where should I go?”, or “Can I see Mt. Fuji during my stopover?” – we're ready to support each situation one by one.

A place for sharing travel memories
Many who visit the center when entering the country have stopped by on their return journey as well to tell tales of their trip, and even introduce lovers they met while traveling. The center has blossomed as a place to share memories of Japan.

An interview with Ms. Yuri Kakizawa, a guide with more than 20-years'experience at this tourist information center packed with many attractions:
Q:What services are unique to this information center?
A:Here, as a souvenir of their trip, everyone can get an original “Goshuin-style” commemorative stamp, planned and designed by our staff. The handwritten date also commemorates your entry or return from the country, so is sure to bring happy memories for years to come.

Ms. Kakizawa speaking with a smile -
Q:From your personal point of view, Ms. Kakizawa, what kind of place is the tourist information center?
A: It's like a “stage”! We are like producers helping visitors to create their perfect trip. I believe the information center is an ideal setting for this. Also like a “stage,” we treat each of the excited, happy travelers to Japan as if we were the cheerful staff at an amusement park, needing to play different roles. For example, when someone loses something, I become a detective and try to gather hints to solve the mystery. This is one of our various roles as “producers” of bespoke travel plans. For this kind of service, the information center is the place to go.
Whether entering Japan or returning home, when at Narita Airport, stop by the Tourist Information Center to talk with the smiling staff.
